Dr. Jonathan C. Allen, Jr., DDS
Dr. Jonathan C. Allen, Jr., DDS, a North Carolina native, received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995 and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1999. After dental school, he returned home to North Carolina where he gained acceptance to The East Carolina School of Medicine General Residency program where only three residents are selected each year. Since 2000, Dr. Allen has been in private practice in the Charlotte region. He will offer a full range of dental services, including but not limited to cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration, surgery, and root canals. Dr. Allen looks forward to serving you and your family.

When he is not in the office, you can find him spending time with his son and wife. Dr. Allen has been happily married since 2001 to his wife, Gina, and in 2012 they both welcomed their son Brody into the world. He enjoys tennis, photography, backpacking, kayaking, and woodworking. His most recent hobby is stand-up comedy which he will admit he is very much a novice but thoroughly enjoys entertaining people.

Scheduling

From your first visit to your 100th, you will always receive exceptional care, all starting from when you call and schedule an appointment. Here’s how to go about scheduling and preparing for your visit.

We know that your time is valuable.  We want to make it easier for you to invest in dental care for yourself and your family by accommodating your life and your dental health needs.  We reserve time just for you to make sure that you are always receiving the best possible care, always treated with a gentle touch, and always well informed.  We will do everything we can to make sure that you and your family are able to receive the dental care you deserve by offering family block appointments and the option to complete dental treatments in as few visits as possible!  You and your time are valuable to us!  Come experience the Wingate Dental Care Difference!
We want to make sure that we make it as easy as possible for our patients and their families to receive the dental care that they deserve.  We know that our families are busy juggling multiple schedule so to help, we offer blocks of appointments for families so that everyone can be seen either at the same time or back-to-back.  When you make an appointment, schedule your entire family.  We will treat you like family making sure that you are all comfortable and accommodated!
If you have a dental concern, call our office and we will do our best to get you in the same day.  We do not want you to have to take off work or be absent from school multiple times.  At Wingate Dental Care, our dental exams and cleanings happen in the same visit.  If during your exam, our Dental Professionals see that extra treatment is needed, we will do our best to start treatment the same day.  Because we value your time, we always do our best to finish any and all treatment in as few visits as possible by completing as much as we realistically and comfortably can during each appointment.
In dental offices of the past, it often took several visits to receive treatment. It was common to have to take off work multiple times for separate exam and cleaning appointments, and for simple procedures such as fillings and crowns.

At Wingate Dental Care we know you’re busy so we work to break this mold.

Our dental exams and cleanings happen in the same visit. Also, if you want to start other dental work the same day, we are able and pleased to accommodate that in most cases. We value your time, and we do our best to finish any and all treatment in as few visits as possible, completing as much care as we realistically and comfortably can during each appointment.

We want to do everything that we can to make it easy for you to get the treatment you need in a timely manner. We accept most PPO dental insurance plans, cash, checks, and major credit cards.

We have several options for financing the dental care that you need. We offer CareCredit as well as in-house financing. We will always do our best to explain the treatment that you need and assist you in making it affordable!
